Grass-fed. Gold-touched. Skin-deep nourishment.

What is Beef Tallow?
Beef tallow is a time-honored, nutrient-rich fat rendered from grass-fed cattle—prized for its unparalleled ability to nourish and restore the skin. Naturally abundant in vitamins A, D, E, and K, it delivers deep hydration and promotes a healthy, radiant glow. At Gild & Graze, we elevate this heritage ingredient by blending it with carefully selected botanical oils, creating a skincare experience that is as indulgent as it is effective—pure luxury, straight from the pasture.

My hope for our company and our wellness seekers…
After many years working as a chef, crafting dishes to delight the senses, I felt a pull toward something more grounded—something I could still create with my hands, but with deeper roots in nature. That journey led me from the kitchen to the pasture, where I now handcraft nourishing skincare from grass-fed tallow and pure botanicals. It’s still about wowing my clients—only now, it’s with products that heal, soothe, and connect us back to the earth.

About The Business
Jake’s Steaks connects grass finishers & cattle ranchers directly to American consumers in the lower 48 states. Jake personally visits and walks pastures with ranchers to confirm they are raising their beef & bison on soil & grass through rotational and regenerative grazing methods across pasturelands in Missouri, Wyoming, and Texas.
Grass-fed & Finished
Cattle are herbivores. They are ruminant animals - hooved animals with multiple stomach chambers. Whether it works to get them fat for harvest or not, grain, corn and other mixed rations are not what they would choose to eat if humans were not present to provide it. The beef we source comes exclusively from cattle raised and finished on grass - polyculture to be specific. That is, multiple species of domestic native grasses, perennials, annuals, and warm & cool weather cover crops. The animals, both beef and bison, literally convert energy (calories) and protein from green, grassy forage into delicious, nutrient-dense red meat products.
